What if… America’s mental health professionals actually listened to the voices of youth, rather than simply diagnosing them?
Today’s youth are stuck in a constant vortex of social pressures, expectations, perceived isolation, and an unknown future. While national concern for youth mental health continues to rise, the methods for addressing the topic have remained relatively stagnant. Redesigning mental health from a youth perspective, our team created a brand and concept space focused on offering young people a moment of reset to go within, take ownership of their needs, and reach out on their own terms.

My Role
As the lead Environments Designer I delivered space concept and renders, facility planning models, and design guidelines as part of a vision for future mental health clinics defined by a strong youth perspective.

[Working with IDEO.org] has been a wonderful experience... and hopefully just the beginning of a long and fruitful collaboration.
